A half-timbered house dating from 1669, with massive oak beams, old family photographs, an open fireplace – in Meyer’s Inn (Gasthaus Meyer) at Meyers Hof it’s welcoming and cosy and the country fare is top quality.
Meyer´s Inn serves a hearty breakfast, varied lunch, coffee & cake as well as dinner. And because every season has its culinary highlights, a monthly special is offered as well.
Almost all of the menues are prepared fresh by the Zoo cooks, using, whenever possible, products from regional companies such as Jagdschloß Springe (game), Bauer Lahmann (asparagus) or Milchhof Hemme (diary products).
Open all year round:
During the day, Meyer´s Inn is part of the zoo-world „Meyers Hof“. In the evening, everybody can dine in the restaurant & beer garden!

Buses 128 and 134 or tram 11 ("Zoo" stop, head straight on and slightly to the left, entrance at the end of the parking lot). Parking lot next to the restaurant (entrance from Waldchaussee) - in the evening free of charge!
