Fun for Children

Adventure Playground
Dangle like an orang-utan, gyrate like a gibbon, clamber like a chimp - super slides, climbing frames, see-saws, swings and more ... at the Adventure Zoo Playground children can really let off steam – and if the grown-ups get grumpy and impatient just send them off to relax in the coffee garden at Meyer's Inn nearby!

Adventure Playground Brodelburg

Childrens Paradise Mullewapp
The only place in the whole wide world where children can join in the adventures of the Three Friends Johnny Mouse, Charlie Rooster and Podgy Percy. Here, Helme Heine´s red roofed farm and the Three Friends come to life. A paradise for all the family!

Mullewapp (Mollywopp), home of the Three Friends!

Petting Meadow
Find out what the tongue of a goat feels like! How smooth do you think the lips of an Alpaka are? Do pigs grunt differently when you stroke their belly? On the big petting meadow you can feed and touch all of the animals and find out for yourself!

The animals on the petting meadow are looking forward to your visit!

Summer Slides (March-Oct.)
Sitting on huge tubes you slide down Mount Waldemar, and that quite fast! Three different slides wind down the 10 m high mountain. Excitement and fun for all ages!

Summer slides - Fun for all ages!

Children´s Playground
For all kids up to six years of age, there is a special playground on Mollywopp! You can jump up and down on the huge trampolines, conquer the pirates´ boat and think up fantastic adventures with your friends!

Ball Bath
Just dive under and hide from everybody! Next to Aunt Millis Feeding Trough, there is a huge ball bath. While the adults are making conversation, you can have lots of fun!

Grown-ups keep out!
Find your own way! In the Zambezi territory there are winding paths with wobbly bridges to cross and narrow logs to balance on. Keep your eyes peeled! The clambering trails are a bit hidden, but while the grown-ups are strolling along the main paths, just a few metres away you're having one adventure after the other off the beaten track and can jump out on them before the next call on your zoo expedition!

Along hidden trails!

Water Games!
In the Jungle Palace two stone Elephant Fountains are waiting for daring climbers and splashers to cool off in the pool. And when you cover the end of the stone elephant’s trunk the water will find another way out ... surprise!

On stage as animal trainer's assistant!
How would you like to catch a snowy owl on your fist, stroke a snake or find out how wild animals are trained? At every Animal Show we’re always looking for young assistants – so off you go! And don't forget the camera, or your schoolmates will never believe what happened to you at the zoo!

Animal show with reptiles

Turn Tiger! (March-Oct.)
You've always wanted to prowl through the zoo like a fearsome tiger? At the ‘Animal Magic' makeup station* real artists will turn you into a wild tiger, fierce leopard, shimmering butterfly, graceful elf or colourful fabulous creature.

Children with painted face

Still not enough!
If all of the above still is not enough, don´t worry there´s a lot more to discover: climbing ropes on the gorilla mountain, for example!

On Meyer´s Farm you can even take the drivers seat of a real tractor. Or try your hand at milking the cows „Lotti“ and „Rosi“!
