"People can only love what they know, and they will only protect what they love." The age-old wisdom of Baba Dioum is the motto of Hannover Adventure Zoo and is taking it forward on its unique path. On these pages we present the new Zoo, its concepts and its history.

One of the main tasks of a modern zoo is to save animals from extinction. Hannover Adventure Zoo participates in 18 European species conservation programmes, and fights especially to save the addax antelope and the drill. Under Protected Species we tell you about our projects.
